INTELLECTIA: Interactive Journal of English Education and Teaching Innovations

1. General Information

INTELLECTIA publishes original research articles focusing on English education, teaching innovations, language learning, educational technology, curriculum development, assessment, and related educational studies.

The journal accepts manuscripts that provide theoretical contributions, empirical findings, and practical implications for English education.

2. Manuscript Types

INTELLECTIA accepts:

Research Articles

Original empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches.

Review Articles

Systematic reviews, literature reviews, or conceptual analyses related to English education.

Conceptual Articles

Articles presenting theoretical frameworks, educational models, or innovative perspectives.

3. General Manuscript Requirements

Authors must ensure that manuscripts:

1. Are original works.
2. Have not been published previously.
3. Are not under consideration by another journal.
4. Follow INTELLECTIA manuscript template.
5. Use appropriate academic English.

4. Manuscript Formatting

Authors should follow these formatting requirements:

1. Font: Calibri
2. Body text: 11 pt
3. Single spacing
4. First-line indentation: 0.75 cm
5. Citation style: APA 7th Edition
6. Reference management software is recommended (Mendeley/Zotero)

Template formatting follows INTELLECTIA manuscript standards.

5. Article Structure

Title

The title should:

1. Clearly represent the research topic.
2. Be concise.
3. Maximum 15 words.
4. Avoid unnecessary abbreviations.

The title should reflect the conducted research.

Author Information

Authors should provide:

1. Full name
2. Institutional affiliation
3. Email address
4. Corresponding author information

Affiliations should include:

University Name ,Country.

Abstract

The abstract should contain:

1. Research background
2. Research objectives
3. Methods
4. Main findings
5. Research novelty
6. Implications

Length:

185–200 words

The abstract should be informative, concise, and written without citations.

Keywords

Authors should provide:

1. 3–5 keywords.
2. Keywords should represent the main research concepts.

Introduction

The introduction should:

1. Explain the research background.
2. Present relevant previous studies.
3. Identify research gaps.
4. Explain research urgency.
5. Present novelty.
6. State research objectives/questions.

The introduction should move logically from general issues toward the specific research problem.

Authors should avoid excessive literature review and focus on studies directly related to the research problem.

Methods

The Methods section should explain:

1. Research approach/design
2. Participants or research subjects
3. Research instruments
4. Data collection procedures
5. Data analysis techniques

The explanation should be systematic and sufficient to allow readers to understand the research process.

Results and Discussion

This section should present:

Results

Authors should report:

1. Main findings
2. Data analysis results
3. Research outcomes

Tables and figures may be used to clarify findings and must be accompanied by explanation.

Discussion

The discussion should:

1. Answer research questions.
2. Interpret findings.
3. Connect findings with previous studies.
4. Explain theoretical and practical contributions.

Figures and Tables

Tables

1. Table title should be placed above the table.
2. Tables must be numbered sequentially.

Figures

1. Figure caption should be placed below the figure.
2. Figures must be clear and relevant.

The placement of table captions and figure captions follows INTELLECTIA formatting rules.

Citations and References

INTELLECTIA uses:

APA Style 7th Edition

Authors should ensure:

1. Every citation appears in the reference list.
2. Every reference is cited in the manuscript.
3. References are arranged alphabetically.

Reference requirements:

1. Minimum 25 references.
2. 80% journal articles.
3. Maximum use of recent references within 10 years unless classical theory is required.

6. Publication Ethics Statements

Acknowledgments

Authors may acknowledge support from individuals, institutions, or funding agencies.

Ethical Considerations

Authors must explain ethical approval, participant consent, or ethical procedures when research involves human participants.

AI Use Disclosure

Authors must disclose whether generative AI tools were used during manuscript preparation.

If AI was used, authors must explain its purpose, such as:

1. language improvement,
2. proofreading,
3. formatting assistance.

Authors remain responsible for:

1. originality,
2. accuracy,
3. integrity of the manuscript.
